OCF Executive Director Resigns
Fishers, IN – April 9, 2010
Citing personal reasons unrelated to OCF, Fr.
Kevin Scherer has submitted his resignation from the position of Orthodox
Christian Fellowship Executive Director. With appreciation for his years of
dedicated service, the OCF Board of Directors wishes Fr. Scherer all the best
in his future endeavors.
Board of Directors Chair, Fr. Mark Leondis,
announced that a search committee is currently being formed and that the
Board’s officers will assume administrative responsibilities until the
Executive Director position is filled. Metropolitan Isaiah of Denver, the OCF
SCOBA Overseer commented, “Finding a
suitable individual for the position of OCF Executive Director is of great
importance so that this vital ministry may continue to share the message of
Christ and to provide an Orthodox Christian presence on college and university
campuses in North America.”

official collegiate campus ministry program under SCOBA. Our
mission is to support fellowships on college campuses, whose members
experience and witness to the Orthodox Christian Church through community life,
prayer, service to others and study of the Faith. Our headquarters is located
in Indianapolis, IN and supports over 270 local university chapters across
North America. In addition, we provide a variety of thoughtful and
innovative programming, including regional training, annual conferences, and
domestic and international service learning programs.
