Orthodox Christian Fellowship
Ottawa, Carleton, and McGill OCFs are getting together for a retreat at Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church on Saturday, March 6th. Fr. Maxym Lysack, chaplain of Ottawa U's OCF, will be speaking to us on the theme of the Cross (since the Sunday of the Cross is the next day).
Here's what the day is looking like so far:
- Breakfast in the church hall at Christ the Saviour
- Helping/cleaning around the church
- Talk #1
- Meet & greet activity
- Talk #2
- Vespers
- Dinner in Chinatown
Montreallers can come just on the 6th or for the whole weekend, March 5th to 7th. Anyone from Ottawa is encouraged to go to their home church on Friday and Sunday, but visitors from Montreal are invited to go to the Akathist at St Elias or the Presanctified Liturgy at Christ the Saviour on the 5th, and to Liturgy at St Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church on the 7th.
