Hey guys, our next meeting will be on Sunday, October 9th at 6:00pm at St. Peter's. I know we had talked about doing the Akathist for St. John the Theologian (since it's his feast day) but I couldn't get a copy of it. Father George is ordering a book of Akathists for the parish though, so we'll be prepared for next time. Instead we have a copy of the Akathist to St. Innocent of Alaska, the Enlightener of America. Prepare your voices, practice your chanting, and we'll pray the Akathist on Sunday.

After the Akathist we'll have something to eat, but who knows what yet.

And, as I'm sure you all are very aware, our website is up and running now, so feel free to explore it and the rest of the OCF site. There's more info about College Conference which takes place at the Monostary, so if we could go that'd be pretty cool. Also, we have our own discussion forum that, months ago, I was using just in case anybody was out there, but now I'd really encourage you all to use it to bring up prayer requests, continue discussions from a meeting, or share a website or prayer or whatever that you've found helpful. There're a lot of resources here for us, but resources are only valuable if they're actually used, so lets not let them go to waste!
