Oberlin's OCF chapter has had an exhilarating
spring term of Orthodox speakers and programs, including such luminaries as
Father Daniel Byantoro and Frederica Mathewes-Green. Then this past Saturday,
in cooperation with Saints Peter in Paul Church in Lorain, Oberlin’s OCF helped
sponsor a spiritual discussion by Archpriest Artemy Vladimirov, a
Russian-English speaking Priest of Russian Orthodox Church of All Saints in
Moscow, Russia. Father Artemy is also the Spiritual Father to countless
Russians and people living in the west. Finally, again in partnership with
Father Basil Stoyka and the parishioners of Saints Peter and Paul,
we sponsored five Presanctified Liturgies to the Oberlin community. These
took place every Tuesday at the Multifaith House on campus and were followed by
a Lenten soup and bread supper. It is only by the grace of God that we have
been able to witness to our faith here at Oberlin. Please keep our fledgling
community in your prayers, as we hope to expand on our efforts next academic
year.

In Christ,
