This Saturday October 8th we will be going to help with the soup kitchen at St. Gregory's at 11am. We will finish up around 1 pm. Even if you cannot stay the whole time it would be great if you could come even for a short time!

Also Saturday October 8th there will be a vespers service at St. Gregory's at 6pm, another great opportunity to worship together and meet the new Priest Fr. Matthew as well as the Bishop of the OCA Midwest His Grace Mathias. His Grace will be at St. Greg's through out the weekend.

Sunday Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by His Grace and Honor Fr. Daniel Rentel on his retirement.

Get here early as there will be a full crowd. The bishop will arrive at 9:00 AM.

Good OCF people,

This Wednesday we will be enjoying a discussion with Fr. Stephen. It will be our last meeting with him all year! Please email me ASAP about topics you would like him to speak out.
Our meeting will be in the Union , in the Aviation room, which is on the 3rd floor, in the block of rooms above the source. Call if you have any trouble finding it!

Hey all!

I'll keep this short, I just wanted to extend a formal and warm welcome to all of you! I know I speak for the officers when I say we are so excited for this year. Here is a calendar of events for this fall quarter. We know everyones schedules are different with school/work etc. but we would love for everyone to keep coming as much as they have been. Here is goes:

OCT.

14th- Short Business mtg. and Marrianne present the first chapter of David w/open discussion

21th- Church service at St. Greg's

25th- Possibly attending a Crew game!??

28th- David presents David Ch.2 w/ open discussion

NOV.

4th- Prof. Tamer, our advisor , will come to talk to us- hes real cool

10th- Instead of meeting on Wednesday we will be meeting on Tuesday night for a Fun Day!...BW3 30cent wing night! Fasting will begin after that so we wanted to get in a Meat Frenzie before hand for all those who will be fasting

18th- Marina presents David Ch. 3 w/open discussion

21st- Group Trip to St. Gregory Palamas monastary in Gallion, Ohio

25th- No Class-THANKSGIVING

Involvement fair

The inolvement fair will take place on Monday ,September 21 we will be able to pass flyers out and get an email list going for new members. If anyone is available from 12 to 4 (you dont need to stay the whole time) would be willing to pass things out and get emails from new students. Down at the OVAL.

College Student Sunday

We will be meeting on Sunday Sept. 20 at St. Gregory of Nyssa Orthodox Campus Church. After Liturgy we will install the new executive board members and will have a reception to welcome all students back to campus. The church is located at the corner of Summit St. and Oakland.
