OCF Day of Prayer is a program that unites the various chapters across North America
in prayer. Each year, on the first day of Great Lent (Clean Monday), participating OCF
chapters take part in 24 hours of unceasing prayer. Each school takes a one-hour slot
to pray for themselves, their chapters and their fellow students.

Our branch has signed up to cover the shift of March 7th, 6:00pm on Clean Monday.

Christ is Born!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I'm really excited to announce the date for our first official OCF meeting: January 5th at 4:30!!

We will meet at church to bless the club, sign the club's constitution and bylaws, meet, and eat. We were thinking of doing a potluck that night for dinner. The day is a strict fast so everything has to be vegan. I'm planning on bringing a bean dish, which should cover the entree aspect of the meal so bread, salad, etc. is all you guys. If you can't or don't have the time to bring anything don't worry about it at all. I really hope everyone can make it. There is vigil that evening so the meeting shouldn't take too long for those of you who have other plans or homework already.

I would be more than happy to drive anyone coming from the OSU direction if you need the ride. However, I'll plan on staying for vigil so if you want a ride home from me you'll have to do the same.

Please let me know if you wont be able to make it. I really hope everyone can. There are some of you who I haven't had a chance to meet yet so please try to come.

Metropolitan's Visit

Metropolitan Jonah and Bishop Benjamin to visit Corvallis November 13-14 to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of St. Anne!

"The Ancient Church in Post-Modern America" lecture by Metropolitan Jonah on November 13th from 11:00am to 12:00pm.

Will be held in Peavy Auditorium 130 at OSU.

Saturday Vigil will be at 4:00pm on November 13th.

Sunday Heirarchical Divine Liturgy will be at 9:30am.

Nativity Fast Begins
