Jerusalem

·       Description: The project will take place in the Holy Land, primarily near the city of Jerusalem.  We will be mainly working with Four Homes of Mercy, a charitable organization founded over 60 years ago.  Our work will consist of maintenance, cleaning, cooking as well as interaction with the handicapped children and others at Four Homes of Mercy.  The group will also visit the holy sites in northern Israel and around the Sea of Galilee as well as in Jerusalem and the West Bank.  In addition, we will be visiting Palestinian Christians in order to learn their stories and share with them worship.  More information can be found in the Jerusalem Trip Packet upon registering.

·       Dates: March 12-22, 2010 

·       Trip Leader: Fr. Nicholas Andruchow

·       Cost: $2560.00 USD.  This cost includes the international flight, transportation, lodging, meals, materials and an excursion; however, it does not include the domestic flight to and from New York (JFK). If you fundraise over the $2560 trip cost, OCF will reimburse your domestic flight up to the overage amount fundraised.

·       Transportation: Participants will receive an email by November 15, 2009 stating specific times to book your flight to/from New York (JFK).
