Chapter Definitions

Chartering is a one-time process that officially affiliates a new chapter with Orthodox Christian Fellowship.

 

CHARTERED:  Chapter has submitted a constitution and an episcopal endorsement for the local chaplain.

UNCHARTERED:  Chapter has not submitted a constitution and/or an episcopal endorsement for the local chaplain.

The following labels refer to the current status of a chapter and are updated each school year.

 

ACTIVE:  For the current school year, chapter is meeting regularly and has updated its contact information.

EMERGING:  For the current school year, chapter is working to establish itself.

INACTIVE:  For the current school year, chapter is not meeting regularly and/or has not updated its contact information. To reactivate an inactive chapter, contact the appropriate regional representative.
