Father Matt Conjelko, the Spiritual Advisor of the IUP OCF visited IUP’s campus to offer dorm/apartment blessings for participating OCF members. As a graduating senior, I greatly appreciated this treat. The students learned about the reasons we have our homes blessed. I was also so very happy to receive and learn about an icon Father had brought for each student, as a reminder of the apartment blessings that occurred. Having this connection to my faith brought to my personal living quarters solidified my personal satisfaction within the gifts in Orthodoxy.
On Dec 5, 2012, IUP's OCF gathered in the church basement to learn about the importance and religious ties to baking phosphora. The students had a hands on, "behind the scene" experience with Father Matt Conjelko, his Pani Mary-Margaret and their 3 children. Numerous loaves were made for surrounding churches as a Nativity offering from the students of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
