College Conference East
The Antiochian Village in Bolivar, Pennsylvania is the home to OCF's largest conference.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Gayle Woloschak
Dr. Woloschak is the director of the Zygon Center for Religion and Science in Chicago, IL. A molecular biologist and professor at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, Dr. Woloschak is deeply devoted to the religion-science dialogue and to the partnership of theologians and scientists in addressing critical issues in society.
Dr. Woloschak is an active leader in the Orthodox Church and serves on many church boards, commissions, and societies, including the Metropolitan Council of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, the Orthodox Theological Society of America, Board of Directors International Orthodox Christian Charities and the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese Commission for Science and Technology. She is the author of hundreds of scientific articles and three books on the Orthodox faith, including Challenge Questions on Orthodoxy and Beauty and Unity in Creation

College Conference West
St Nicholas Ranch in Dunlap, California is the home this year to OCF's western regional conference.
You should come to this year's West College Conference if you like being surrounded by inspiring Christian students in a truly beautiful landscape, with the common goal to grow in our faith.
Here are some of the highlights:
- The Keynote speaker, Abbot Meletios Webber, currently the Abbott of St John the Wonderworker Monastery in Manton California and a well known author, lecturer, and scholar.
- Daily workshops led by Mother Melania of the Santa Barbara Monastery and Katrina Bitar, Program Director of Focus North America.

- Accepting our call to "Make things New" for others- Participating in
the Renewal of brothers and sisters.

Keynote Speaker: Abbot Meletios Webber.
The West Coast College Conference is excited and blessed to host Abbot Meletios Webber as this year's Keynote Speaker.
Born in England, the Scottish Father Meletios, became an Orthodox Christian at the age of 21. By age 25, Father Meletios was ordained as a priest in the Orthodox Church. A true scholar, the abbot has studied at Oxford, Thessalonica, and the University of Montana. In 1978 Father Webber was tonsured as a monk while in Greece.
Father Mel, as he has become known in the United States, relocated to the US in 1984 and has led an extraordinary career as a priest-monk, therapist, author, and renown speaker. Currently Father Mel is the Abbott of St. John of San Francisco Monastery. He spends a large portion of his efforts traveling throughout the United States as lecturer for different Conferences, Retreats, and Lecture Series. .
Speaker: Mother Melania
A native of New Kingstown, Pennsylvania, mother Melania was born into the Antiochian Orthodox Church. In 1999 she was called to the monastic ministry, and took up residence at the Monastery of ST Barbara, located on the central coast of California. Mother Melania ministers to the youth through her numerous Children's Books. She has also been involved in the young adult ministries, with frequent appearances at events such as the West Coast College Conference. Mother Melania currently resides as the Abbess at one of the oldest Orthodox Women's Monastery in the United States, Holy Assumption, located in Calistoga California.
The West Coast College Conference is happy to announce that Mother Melania will once again be in attendance at this year's Conference and be presenting two different lectures.

Speaker: Katrina Bitar
Katrina Bitar has been extensively involved in Youth & Young Adult Ministry for the last ten years. Her career began as the youth director, but did not stop there. For the last few years, Katrina acted as advisor for the West Coast College Conference. Today, she has become well known for her role as director of Camp St. Nicholas as well as the director of Youth Equipped to Serve (YES a FOCUS North America Program).
The outreach ministry, YES, has Katrina in a new city nearly every week with a different group of young adults. These groups learn how they can serve the impoverished in their own communities. We excited to have Katrina back at the College Conference this year as a speaker, sharing her experiences and how they relate to this year's theme.
Katrina will be hosting the following discussions at this year's West Coast College Conference:

Regretfully due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to appropriately facilitate the mid-west college conference for your participation.
If you were interested in participating would like to encourage you to attend one of our conferences at these locations.

If you were already registered and would like to switch to a different conference we will be able to help you with the following:
1. You WILL NOT incur any additional registration fees if you have paid in full. If you have only paid the deposit, you will only need to pay the difference of the $175 registration fee from the Mid-West location.
2. If you need to make changes to your airline travel and will incur a change fee - we will reimburse you for these fees. Please send a receipt for the change by January 7th to:

The Diakonia Center in Salem, South Carolina, is the home this year to OCF's southern regional conference. Reconnect with old friends and make new ones at this dynamic 4-day event during Christmas Break. Come ring in the new year in the Blue Ridge Mountains at the Diakonia Center. Keynote Speaker: Fr. John Parker
Fr. John Parker lives in Charleston, SC with his wife, two sons and golden retriever where he serves Holy Ascension Orthodox Church since 2003. He attended the College of William & Mary and then Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry before being received into the Orthodox Church. He enjoys playing the guitar, mandolin, surfing and sharing his passion for our faith. Fr. John Parker will be the keynote speaker for College Conference South.
Speaker: Fr. Anthony Salzmann
Fr. Anthony Salzman, Presby. Christine, and their two sons, Stephanos and Maximos arrived in Athens in August, 1999. Fr. Anthony and Presby. Christine both graduated from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology in Brookline, MA. in 1989. They lived in Thessaloniki, Greece for six years, where Fr. Anthony studied Byzantine Iconography and they immersed themselves in the life of the Church. Father Anthony is an artist/iconographer and continues today to paint icons for churches and families. You may see some of his work at www.imageandlikeness.com.
Metropolitan Alexios of Atlanta appointed Fr. Anthony as the OCF coordinator for the college ministry of the Metropolis. Our local OCF chapter at the University of Georgia in Athens is very active and involved not only here but on the national level as well. Fr. Anthony is a past president of the CMA (Campus Ministers Association) at UGA and has been an inspiring voice of Orthodoxy to the student body. He also is a guest lecturer at the Lamar Dodd School of Art, UGA Continuing Ed. School and OCAF (Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation), teaching about Byzantine Art History and Iconography and spreading the word about Orthodoxy through the arts.
