Chartering Your OCF

If you are either launching a new Chapter of OCF or re-registering your current OCF Chapter for this next school year, you are in the right place.

OCF Chapters everywhere share the vision of creating rich community in Christ, inspiring life-long love of God and neighbor. We count on our student leaders, spiritual advisors, and other advisors to bring that vision to life.

Why do I need to Charter our OCF?

Our OCF Charter is the document that establishes that your group is a part of the ministry of OCF. It serves as a contract between OCF and our chapters, confirming that a chapter has committed to pursue OCF’s mission and purpose and granting rights and privileges to use OCF’s name and resources to the chapter. By doing so we can better serve your local ministry!

STEP 1

Charter Application Session

  1. Sign up here for a 30 minute charter session. At least two officers, including the president, must attend, and it is encouraged that all officers and advisors attend.
  2. Join via Zoom to review the OCF charter, update your chapter information, learn about leadership opportunities, and get your questions answered.
  3. You’ll be given access to the new OCF model constitution to submit to your university as well as our brand guide and resources.

STEP 2

Submit Documents

You’re on your way! Upload your documents to stay up-to-date with OCF for the coming academic year.

  1. Upload a copy of your final constitution here.
  2. If you have a new spiritual advisor or he has a new bishop, request a new episcopal endorsement letter (see sample request letter here). Upload your new endorsement letter here.

How often will my OCF need to Charter?

All OCF chapters will need to renew their charter annually upon the election of new officers. This annual step helps us help chapters!
