What to expect…
Participants will learn from multiple different speakers as they progress through five independent learning modules and two live zoom sessions.
At the conclusion of the program, participants will have the opportunity to apply for a grant. The grant allows participants to apply the module teachings to real life through a community project.
The modules are paced to be every two weeks. Each topic includes a 15-30 minute video and discussion questions in Discord with other participants.
Module 1: Orthodoxy Is a Life, Not Just A Religion
Learn how our Orthodox faith is part of every aspect of our lives, not just a separate category.

Interested in joining Real Break Now?
What is our goal?
Our goal is to give students the opportunity to experience Orthodoxy in a variety of contexts, learn from those who are living the gospel, and see the Church at work in the world.
What will this program look like?
We’ll start Thursday, February 4 at 8PM EST with a Zoom orientation to connect with other participants and set the tone for the program. You will gain access to Teachable where you will find the following five modules outlined above.
You will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A in early April for you to interact with our incredible speakers from the first three modules. In early May, you have the opportunity to join a grant workshop call to work with speakers from the last two modules on your!
All of this will prepare you for the opportunity to apply for a $1000 grant towards a project designed and led by you that benefits your community!
Will I meet new people?
Yes! You will connect with other students striving to serve their community through three zoom calls and Discourd discussions throughout the semester!
What is the time commitment?
You will have three one hour zoom sessions: orientation in early February, a Q&A with speakers from the first three modules in April, and a grant workshop in early May. Every two weeks, you will have a module consisting of a 15-30 minute video and discussion questions with other participants on our designated Discord server!
